That 70s Outfit

I may not have gotten to actually experience the 70s, but I'd like to think Jackie Burkhart and Donna Pinciotti helped shape my style during my formative years. Let me tell you, I was a bell bottom aficionado back in 5th grade. Limited Too jeans were my jam! I should probably be more embarrassed and stop bragging but, it's true.

The rest of what I learned about the 70s was from Forrest Gump, so while I may not actually be as expert on the decade, I am still in love with modern retro.

This rich brown corduroy jumper made me fall in love with it all over again. It's the perfect piece to build from, and oh-so versatile! I paired the jumper with a few items I already had in my closet (broke out all my winter and fall clothes last weekend). While there were so many tops that worked, I went with this simple white ribbed long-sleeve that I got at Topshop a while back and completed the look with some knee-high suede Stuart Weitzman boots from last winter (I found a similar boot online which I linked below).

Overall, I LOVE this look! Added my new favorite sunglass from Sonix for some Starksy and Hutch vibes...The crazy reflective lenses look so. freaking. cool. And "borrowed" this Mustang (had three parking tickets, so pretty sure the owner was cool with us shooting around it).
