A bunch of you requested I do a post on my daily makeup routine, and it's finally here! I love love love natural glam looks and for me, I need something that looks good on camera and stays looking fresh all day (I don't think anyone likes their face looking like it's melting off). Listed below are all the products I used for this look along with a few others I'm currently obsessed with.
Moisturizer I'm currently using Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet. I also love Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion.
Primer Smashbox Iconic Photo Finish Foundation Primer. Goes on sooo smooth and makes your foundation last all day.
Concealer Yves Saint Laurent All Hours Concealer, in Ivory. It took me so long to find coverage that doesn't crease under the eyes but this baby (plus coffee) fools people into thinking I got a full night's sleep.
Foundation Fenty Beauty Pro Filt'r Matte Longwear, in 190. I've tried so many different foundations, and I've loved Diorskin Airflash, Urban Decay Naked Skin, and Armani Silk, but believe the hype... not only did Fenty match perrrrfectly, but my skin has been clearer since using it. How Rhianna, HOW?? I'm obsessed.
Powder Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder. This is a must have for me! Just a bit under the eyes, forehead and chin line to set the foundation and concealer.
Bronzer Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder, in Bronze 02. Blends so well and gives the perfect sun kissed look.
Contour Guerlain Terracotta Sun Trio Bronzing Contour Palette. A little goes a long way with this one. I use a little of the medium and dark colors to contour my cheekbones and chin and the medium and light on my nose. Fair warning, the palette has a bit of a scent... I like it, but could see it may not be for everyone.
Blush Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush, in concept. I hated blush for a looong time, but this color goes great with so many skin tones and isn't too blushy of a blush.
Highlighter Becca Highlighter, in Champagne Pop. The best. I also love Maybelline FaceStudio Master Chrome Metallic Highlighter, in Molten Gold. What up drug store products!! Only $9.99 for glowing skin. Yes, please!
Brow Pencil Anastasia Brow Wiz, in Soft Brown. Feathered and perfect brows!
Brow Gel Anastasia Brow Gel, in Clear. Keeps everything in place
Eye Primer Urban Decay Eyeshadow Anti-Aging Primer Potion
Eye Shadow Anastasia Modern Renaissance Eye Shadow Palette. Still in love with this one. For daytime, I usually wear Raw Sienna or Burnt Orange on my crease, Tempera on my brow bone and smoke out my liner with Cyprus Umber. You can also highlight the inner corner with your highlighter or the shade Primavera. I love playing around with all the pinks, reds and orange tones for nighttime or more dramatic looks. So pigmented!
Liner Stila Stay All Day Liquid Liner, in Black. I also love Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Liner, in Caviar Ink. Both stay put and don't smudge during the day.
Mascara Peter Thomas Roth Lashes To Die For The Mascara, in Black. The name says it all! My other lash go-to is Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara.
Lashes Here I'm wearing Huda Beauty Lashes, in Giselle. I also love Ardell Wispies and Kiss True Volume Lashes in Ritzy (they have a tapered edge and are so soft and natural!) All these lashes have super thin bands too, so they're not heavy and easy to put on.
Liner Make Up For Ever Aqua Lip Waterproof Lipliner, in 3C Medium Natural Beige.
Lipstick Clinique Almost Lipstick, in Pink Honey. And Tarte Quench Lip Rescue, in nude. Both are hydrating and give natural looking color.
Woof! It all seems so simple when it's in a little makeup bag, but I genuinely swear by all of these products. Let me know on Twitter, if you use and love any of these too! xx Cathy
